Why I Am Telling Our Story

August 2011 when we decided we were ready for kiddos, we embarked on this whole adventure. At that time had I known that it would take years, I wonder if I would have done it any different? I will never know, but I don't think so.

So here we are. With the knowledge that right now we need the help of Doctors and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Embryo Adoption (EA) to bring us our own little baby Kucera.

I have shared quite a bit on my regular blog Long Sleeves in a Short Person World, but this blog is simply a place where I can go into detail about our In Vitro adventure, without forcing the people who normally read my blog to read about IVF and EA.

This is a place where I will go through the details of IVF and EA with the Gyft Clinic in Tacoma, WA, so if any other person who wanted to read about what their story could look like, they could read it here.

Excruciating detail. Both in the nitty gritty and the personal. I wish someone would have told me half of these things about what to expect. And yet each of us are different so our stories can still be worlds apart.

So read this with the knowledge of what you are getting into and the knowledge that your story could be completely different.
